Box vents

Box vents use wind and convection to allow the hot air and moisture to escape the attic. Similar to wind turbines, you will usually have several box vents installed on the roof.

ridge vents

Ridge vents are installed under a final layer of shingles and give a seamless look to the roof. Ridge vents do not require power source and is a seamless method for helping hot air to escape the attic.

Power Vents

Power vents have motors that turn fans to drive hot air and moisture out of the attic. Power vents are beneficial as they do not rely on wind to help remove attic heat.
